The Business and Industrial Technology Academy provides students with skills and an introductory framework for careers within the operations, production, services, and logistics of businesses across an array of industries. Pathways within Business Technology prepare students for organizing and coordinating the management of technology internally or externally for an organization or industry. Pathways within Industrial Technology prepare students within engineering and manufacturing to use technology in making production faster, simpler, more environmentally friendly, and more efficient for an organization or industry.
*Some classes within this Academy are offered through the National Park Technical Center. NPTC classes are available to students in grades 11 and 12. Students must apply to National Park College and must have Accuplacer or ACT scores that meet admissions standards. HSSD provides transportation to/from NPTC campus three times daily. While at NPTC, students must maintain collegiate academic and behavioral benchmarks.
*International Baccalaureate Career-Related Program is a combination of IB classes (college prep) and a career-related study.
